"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20
Connection groups not only provide a sense of community, but they also encourage spiritual growth. At Skyline, we define spiritual maturity as continued progress in three vital relationships; reaching up to God, reaching out to others, and reaching out to the community. Maturing believers grow in community with one another, spending time together, and encouraging and supporting each other through life.

Connection Group Purpose:
To connect people to Jesus and other members of Skyline and provide a
network where long-term relationships can be developed.
In a small group you have the opportunity to:
Small groups are not a new thing. In the 1st century churches, as well as worshipping together in the Temple each day, Christians met in homes where they studied the apostles' teachings, shared meals together, and celebrated the Lord's Supper.
Any time a group of friends commit to gather together to share their lives, pray, and discuss the Bible along with the life application of the previous weekend's sermon, good stuff is bound to happen.
The schedule for connection groups operate on a semester rotation consisting of a Fall, Spring and Summer semester. Each semester stands on its own and there is a period of signups in June, September and January.
Connection groups are about sharing life together and discovering how the love of God transforms hearts. In Connection Groups, instead of talking about life, people DO life.
