Lance has served in multiple capacities during his 13-year ministry including Worship Pastor, Church Planter, and Lead Pastor.
Originally from the Bluegrass State, his ministry led him and his family to O'Fallon Illinois and Skyline Church. Lance is just a normal guy who has surrendered his heart and life to seeing God's church really make a difference in the culture we live in. He has an unquenchable passion to help people encounter the love of Christ through relevant teaching and cutting edge ministry. Life change has been the catalyst that fuels his fire for evangelism and discipleship. Lance helps strengthen families by teaching men to be the spiritual leaders of their families, as God calls them to be.
His passions include music, the outdoors, sports of all kinds, and most importantly his family. Along with his wife of 11 years, Heather, he is the proud father of 3 boys...Lucas, Heath, and Landen.
Tim Wilkinson became a Christian in June of 1994. He and his wife Tracy have been married for 24 years. Tim is also the proud father of 4 children and has 2 grandchild. After becoming a Christian, he began instilling Christian values in his family through his personal faith and involvement in the life of the church.
Since becoming a Christian, he has spent a large portion of his ministry working with youth and community outreach. He began his ministry teaching 3rd-5th grade students. After being part of Cederview General Baptist Church for 9 years, Tim and His family felt called to be part of the Skyline Church launch team where he again began by working in the youth ministry of the church in the early years. Currently, Tim serves as the ministry team leader of our Area 678 middle school ministry. Tim has served on various church boards throughout the years and has served on an associational level for the General Baptist denomination.
Tim has shown uncompromised commitment to the vision of Skyline Church. Just as with Tim Clark, Tim Wilkinson has been an integral part of the church’s foundation of leadership over the years.
Tim Clark accepted Christ at the age of 8. He grew up in a strong Christian family and has been married to his wife Debbie for 24 years and is the father of three children. He has raised his family in the church and has dedicated his life to serving both God and his family.
He has been active in church life since his childhood and has been involved in both lay ministry and church leadership. He has been actively involved in learning more about the Bible, His faith, and leadership through self-study and attending multiple conferences. He prays daily and fasts often for the church and God’s will in his life. Throughout his ministry he has served as a Sunday School Superintendent, Men’s Ministry Leader, Missions Director, and on Budget Committees. Tim has also been in leadership positions throughout his secular employment as well.
He has been part of the Skyline team since the very beginning of the church and is heavily committed to fulfilling our vision of reaching the world. He has served in various ways in the church as volunteer staff. Tim has been a pillar of faith that has given a strong foundation of leadership for Skyline throughout the years.
