One of the biggest misconceptions in church life is that people assume every area of service in church is covered and that no other people serving are needed. Nothing could be further from the truth. We’ve been growing since day one so we’ve always been intentional about creating teams and helping people get involved in building Skyline Church. Why? Because it’s not a one-man show or a few key people that make it happen. It’s all of us together for the glory of God.

We believe that “A great church is not built on the gifts and talents of a few, but on the sacrifices of many.”

We love getting others involved because the Bible teaches us that we all have gifts (1 Peter 4:10; Romans 12:6-8; 1 Cor. 12:4-11) that God has deposited on the inside of us. There are so many areas within our church that need people serving as well as new areas we’re continually developing. You getting involved gives you the opportunity to use what God has put in you for the benefit of others.

The heartbeat of our church is all about serving others. Jesus modeled this for us in His own life when He said, “…I came not to be served, but to serve and give my life…” (Mark 10:45) Our culture is passionate about serving people, making a difference in this world and using our gifts to get involved in the life of Skyline. There are plenty of areas (and new ones developing) where people are needed and can serve.

All of us were created by God to make a difference in the life of another. God has a place for you where your unique abilities and passions can touch the lives of others.
