The Mission Central Project

The Mission Central Project has been an incredible journey for Skyline Church.  It is a journey that has involved faith in God as our provider, commitment to a common vision of reaching people with the love of Christ, and sacrifice of time, talents, and treasures. mcp2
mcp1 Through the Mission Central Project, Skyline Church was able to purchase a 10 acre piece of land in the northwest quadrant of O’Fallon, near the intersection of Old Collinsville Road and Milburn School Road.  The purpose of this land is such that we will be able to build our first physical campus and extend our mission throughout the world.
Through the generosity of Skyline’s people, we are well on our way to retiring the debt on the property in a timely fashion. As of March 18, 2013, we have already retired $140,840.51 of the $450,000.00 it took to purchase the ground.  Our goal is to retire the debt completely before the 3-year anniversary of The Mission Central Projects inception (May 6, 2012). This incredible amount of generosity has been accomplished through the people of Skyline doing 3 things.

1. Skyline family members seeking God, through prayer and fasting, as to what your family should bring as a sacrificial gift to The Mission Central Project.
2. Skyline family members making commitments of sacrificial giving to be given weekly or monthly above and beyond their normal tithes and offerings until the conclusion of the campaign period (May 6, 2015).

3. Skyline family members bringing a one-time “First Fruits Offering” that could be the largest single give they have ever given to Skyline Church.

We have embarked on this journey together in order that we may make an even greater impact on our community and our world.  Through a common heart of both sacrifice and service, our dream of creating a Mission Central location through which our greater mission can go forth is quickly becoming a reality.
